The Fall, 9 (253.)

It is when I eat this pizza that I
wonder what authority is, and
despite my wanting command of myself,
I do not want authority.
I can captain my body,
but I do not wish
to captain others’ vessels.
Live as you wish,
harm no one,
let each one
have their own command –
this, I believe, is the way.
